Hobbies/Other Sports/Passions:
Sailing, hiking, sew, an activity regardless of season and weather.

Other key activities and hobbies:
I also go sailing, love hiking, and occasionally I sew. I like to have the opportunity to have an activity regardless of season and weather. This means fewer down days and always having something to look forward to.

Tell us about your background:
I was introduced to the backcountry at a very young age. My parents used to take me and my brother out hiking, skiing, canoeing, piking berries and so on. When I was around 10 years old, we started ski touring and when I was 18 I started climbing. As well as enjoying nature I am also a qualified nurse and work with kids with special needs, which I enjoy very much. Being outdoor is as important for them as it is for me.

What was your craziest adventure or experience so far:
The craziest adventures I have had have all been in my backyard. That is the place I know the best and where I can safely ski and climb during winter. In April 2020 me and my brother went and skied the south face of a mountain called Nállangaisi in Lyngen. This is known as the most beautiful mountain in Lyngen by us locals. The south face is steep and often requires ropework to get to the top.

Bucket list / Dream trip:
I recently bought a steel keel sailboat which has been a dream for a long time. I am now preparing for my dream adventure: exploring Finnmark, the most northern parts of Norway, both summer and winter. Boat life seems like the best way of living both because its powered by nature and the minimalistic lifestyle which is required to be able to fit life in the boat.

Why become a Haglöfs Ambassador:
During my childhood I have had a lot of Haglöfs clothing and so did my parents. It also feels extra special to be able to collaborate with a Scandinavian brand.

What´s your favorite Haglöfs gear:
I really enjoy the L.I.M series because its perfect for trad climbing when you want clothing to pack down as small as possible. I almost never pack gortex during summer because of the weight and the lack of use. It is also extra nice to have a synthetic jacket like the L.I.M mimic jacket.

Quote you live by:
“Make it simple, if it’s hard its probably wrong or you don’t have enough knowledge“. This is a quote from my dad, and he is almost always right.
