    1 Forest Zone
This zone covers the area that spans from the base of the mountain to the tree line, with vegetation gradually becoming sparse as the altitude rises. It is characterized by relatively warmer temperatures and forested terrain.



 

     2 Alpine Zone
Above the tree line, the terrain transitions to alpine meadows and rocky landscapes. This zone extends to the snow line, where permanent snow cover begins. Temperatures drop significantly as altitude increases.



 

    3 Glacial Zone
This zone is marked by permanent snow and ice and the terrain becomes more challenging with crevasses and ice formations. Due to the high altitude the terrain is harsh with very low temperatures, high winds, thin air.

The compressible roll-top construction enables you to swiftly adjust pack volume according to your needs. It offers flexible attachment options, including ice axe attachment straps, a hydration system-compatible back panel pocket, and detachable cords and webbing for securing additional gear like a rope or sleeping pad.

A light and lofty belay jacket for high-pulse alpine pursuits. It’s part of our elite ZT collection designed to meet the demands of high mountain expeditions where speed, lightness, and packability are top priorities. The jacket is made out of a highly durable fabric with stretch and 850 fill power goose down insulation that is packed into a seamless, pre-woven and strategically body-mapped baffle construction for optimal warmth and comfort. You’ll also discover  an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood and large zippered hand pockets, among other hard-wearing features. Highly compressible, the jacket can be packed down into a detachable bag—making it easy to pack along on your next adventure.
