Ramundberget
– a freeride paradise in the Swedish mountains

Tucked deep in Härjedalen’s mountains, Ramundberget is a classic ski destination known for its powder, playful terrain, and strong mountain culture. Every spring, the village comes alive during Freeride Days – a celebration of skiing, snowboarding, and community. With peaks rising right outside the door and a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere, Ramundberget is the perfect backdrop for our film festival. Here, stories of adventure meet the energy of freeriding in one of Sweden’s most inspiring winter settings.

Reason

Featuring Malva Björkman

Two years ago, Malva Björkman was caught in an avalanche that changed her life. Today, she lives full-time in her van, following storms and chasing new adventures wherever they lead. Filmed in the wild mountains of Northern Norway, Reason explores the events that shaped her as a skier, how she finds balance in risk, and why her passion for backcountry skiing burns stronger than ever. It’s a story about resilience, perspective, and the love of a life lived close to nature.

One at the top & one at the bottom

Featuring Ebba Forsgren

Åre-born friends Ebba and Anton have always dreamed of bigger mountains. When they leave Åreskutan behind and head for Chamonix, they set their sights on Mont Blanc—Europe’s highest peak, and one they had never imagined skiing just a few years earlier. What begins as a straightforward mission soon turns into something very different. Plans unravel, challenges pile up, but the experience transforms into a deeper story about friendship, ambition, and discovering what truly matters in the mountains. Mont Blanc Mission shows that sometimes the goal isn’t the summit itself, but the journey that takes you there.

Radio Sarek

Featuring Tom-Oliver Hedvall

For over a decade, a group of skiers have dreamed of returning to Sarek National Park—Europe’s last great wilderness. In May 2025, Tom-Oliver Hedvall and his crew finally made that dream real. Together with filmmaker Elias Lundh and photographer Erik Nylander, they carried sleds, battled Arctic storms, and pitched tents far away from civilization. Their goal: to ski big mountain lines that few, if any, have ever attempted in this remote corner of Sweden. Radio Sarek is more than a film about steep skiing. It’s a story about endurance, decision-making, and the camaraderie that grows when challenges pile up. In the end, it’s about finding joy even in the struggle.

Rebound

Featuring Oskar Normelli/Måns Sjögren

When an ACL injury ended their South America ski plans, Oskar Normelli and Måns Sjögren decided to aim even higher. Just seven months after Oskar’s knee surgery, they set their sights on Cholatse, a 6,440-meter Himalayan peak near Everest. Rebound on Cholatse follows their journey into the thin air, where recovery meets reality and resilience is tested at every step. More than a climbing film, it’s a story about friendship, determination, and finding strength in the face of setbacks.

Arthur Poindefert mountain climbing

A giant at heart

Featuring Arthur Poindefert

High in the Mont Blanc massif, Arthur Poindefert, Killian Moni, and Mathis Garayt attempt a bold new route on the northwest face of the Dent du Géant. Dent du Géant is the story of three friends pushing themselves on a single-day mission that demands both strength and trust. It’s a film about passion for climbing, the joy of partnership, and the spirit that keeps mountaineers reaching for new heights.
