H: Tell us about your background.
T: I’m a skier who travels the world with skis on my back. I began skiing on steep slopes in both Japan and abroad and have since undertaken expeditions to remote, high-altitude, and extreme regions across the globe. I’ve skied in around 30 countries. My adventures have been featured in various films, magazines, photo collections, and TV programs.
H: What was your craziest adventure or experience so far.
T: During my early days as a novice mountaineer, I participated in an expedition to Denali. While skiing down from the summit through thick fog, I navigated slopes that triggered avalanches. Looking back, I realize it was a dangerous expedition, but it became a powerful memory that inspired my future adventures.
H: Bucket list / dream trip.
T: Skiing on snowy mountains around the world. Sailing around the world on a yacht. Biking around the world.
