Midlayers and fleece jumpers for active men

The midlayer is, as it sounds, the middle and warming layer between the base layer and the shell clothing. The purpose of a midlayer is to keep you warm during your outdoor activities, no matter how cold it is. That's why our mid layers come in different thicknesses, with the thicker models helping to keep you warm on cooler days while the thinner, body-hugging mid layers give you just the right amount of warmth during a more strenuous activity while breathing and releasing excess heat. Many of our mid-layers are made from fleece, such as quick-drying Polartec® fleece or microfleece, which provide optimal weight and warmth balance as well as good moisture transport and breathability. The layer-on-layer principle makes it easy to adjust body warmth by adding or removing the mid-layer as needed.

It's the little details that make our midlayers and fleece jumpers so comfortable. Flatlock seams minimise the risk of chafing even though the garment is close to the skin, and they also help to improve the fit. Offset shoulder and side seams, or raglan sleeves, maximise comfort when wearing a backpack. We have ensured that garments used for more challenging activities that require a flexible material have stretch throughout for increased freedom of movement. Many of our mid-layers are moisture-wicking and quick-drying, so you'll feel dry even after a pulse-raising activity. Even small details such as zips with a wind flap for extra comfort, hems that can be adjusted with one hand, and pockets that are lined and conveniently placed are important amenities that we do not compromise on.
