The Layer-on-Layer Principle for the Upper Body

We like to make it easy for you who want to find functional, high-quality clothing that can be used in everyday life as well as during hiking, climbing, skiing, or other activities. The trick is to equip yourself with clothing adapted for layer-on-layer use.

A base layer that sits perfectly against the skin acts as an extra skin layer and wicks moisture while following the body's movements – the perfect base garment for strenuous activities! As a second layer, we like to use fleece Shirts | T-shirts that warm the upper body and can easily be removed if it gets too warm. The outer layer can consist of a jacket adapted to the current season, i.e., a 3-layer GORE-TEX jacket for extreme wet conditions during autumn and winter, or a lighter lightweight jacket for spring and late summer.
