Summit Guides

HAGLÖFS: What is your hometown.

SUMMIT GUIDES: Åre, Sweden.

H: Where are you currently located.

S: Åre, Sweden

H: What is your main sport.

S: Skitouring, climbing.

H: Do you have other hobbies/Sports/Passions.

S: MTB (Enduro if your trendy) and trail running is also something we love to do.

"Get up early in the morning, take it easy in the afternoon!"

H: Tell us about your background.

S: A general overview for people on the site to get to know who you are and how you ended up where you are today.
We are two outdoor entusiasts who’ve been working with guiding and in outdoor industry for most of our adult lives. And we have NO plans to do anything else but the same in the future! To evolve and adapt to the mountains as professionals keeps our motivation high.

H: What was your craziest adventure or experience so far.

S: So hard to choose from all the good times in the mountains! Maybe that time we had a photo shoot for the ROC Nordic jacket and had a mountain hut for ourselves for two days.  After an early bird start, the mountains woke up to an unbelievably beautiful sunrise and the rock was dry and sticky the whole day. That beer at the mountain hut at sunset is one of the best!

H: Bucket list / Dream trip.

S: Continuing with what we do! Exploring new places for us and our guests while trying to be as sustainable as possible. Skitouring in Georgia, alpine climbing in South America and many many more dream trips!

H: Why did you want to become a Haglöfs ambassador.

S: We share the same interest: The love of outdoor activities and Mother Nature.

H: What is your favorite gear.

S: The LIM Alpha Vest, Hood AND shorts. It’s some of the best garments that we have ever worn.

H: Quote you live by.

S: ”Öpp i ti, afta fri!" In English: "Get up early in the morning, take it easy in the afternoon!" It´s an old farmers saying here in Sweden, everybody knows it!
