Höga Kusten Trail promotion – General Terms and Conditions

 

Haglöfs AB with org. no. 556054-8694 is a company incorporated under the laws of Sweden and having its principal office at Gustavslundsvägen 141, 167 51 Bromma, Sweden (referred to as "Haglöfs")

Höga Kusten Trail promotion (is a promotion (referred to as the "Promotion")– organized by Haglöfs to promote the brand. The Promotion is governed by these general terms and conditions ("T&Cs")

1 DURATION

The Promotion will run from 15^th. of July 2024 to 31^st of July 2024 23:59 CET ("Promotion Period").

2 PRIZE

Haglöfs, in partnership with High Coast Resort AB with org. no. 556927-7287, Terrassvägen 3, 891 30 Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, will give away two (2) ticket slots to any of the three races during the Höga Kusten Trail weekend  6^th-7^th September 2024 (exclusive any travel or living expenses) ("Prize")to 2 winners ("Winners")on 1^st of August 2024 organized by High Coast Resort AB. The races to choose from is

1. 3Peaks 15k that starts 4:00 PM on Friday, 6^th of September 2024, (corresponding to 795 SEK),
2. Coast to Summits 26k that starts between 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday, 6^th of September 2024, (corresponding to 995 SEK,) or
3. The Original 45k that starts between 8:00-9:00 AM on Saturday, 7^th September 2024, (corresponding to 1095 SEK).

3 HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Participation in the Promotion is free of any charge. All entries received outside of the Promotion Period and those that do not comply with this T&Cs are automatically disqualified. In order to participate in the Promotion, participants must:

1. Be a subscriber to the Haglöfs newsletter, either new or existing. New ones can register via haglofs.com.
   
   
2. In the registration form, write the race and distance you wish to run during Höga Kusten Trail.

The winner will be randomly chosen from the pool of all eligible participants.

4 ELIGIBILITY 

4.1 Legal residents of Sweden who have reached the age of eighteen (18) are eligible to participate in the Promotion, The Höga Kusten Trail races will take place in Höga Kusten, Sweden and travel costs and living expenses are not included in the Prize. The Promotion is for private purposes only.

4.2 Directors, officers, management, employees, other staff and the immediate family and household members of those individuals of Haglöfs, Haglöfs offices in the participant countries, sales force, retailers (including their staff), agencies involved in the development of this Promotion, affiliated companies and other persons involved in the Promotion are not eligible to enter this Promotion.

4.3 In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion and to receive a Prize, the participant must fully comply with these T&Cs , and by accepting the prize the recipient agrees to be bound by these T&Cs and the decisions of Haglöfs, whose decisions shall be binding and final in all respects. The Winner must also comply with the terms and conditions provided by High Coast Resort AB in order to participate in any of these races.

4.4 Entry to participate in the Promotion is limited to one entry per person.

5 PRIZE DETAILS AND CONDITIONS 

5.1 The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize is between 795-1095 SEK, depending on what race the Winner chooses, see details above. Any depictions of Prizes are for illustrative purposes only. No transfer, refund, substitution or replacement of the Prize, into cash or other items, is permitted.

5.2 Subject to change, the decision of the Winners will take place on 1^st of August 2024.

5.3 The Winners will be chosen randomly from the pool of all eligible participants, by Haglöfs employees.

5.4 The Winners will be announced in Haglöfs' newsletters on 11^th of August 2024 and individually contacted via the email written in the registration form the day after the Promotion Period is over and no later than 5^th of August 2024 via e-mail.

5.5 By participating in the Promotion, you hereby grant Haglöfs a permission to announce your First name and country used for entry to the Promotion in Haglöfs’ newsletters in order to announce and congratulate the Winner.

5.6 The Prize needs to be claimed in the period 6^th of August 2024 to 7^th of August 2024.

5.7 In the event that Haglöfs cannot for any reason get in contact with a Winner, or a Winner does not confirm their acceptance of the Prize, in writing, to the announcement that they have won within seven (7) days, Haglöfs reserves the right to select another Winner by means of same Winner selection process.

6 PERSONAL DATA 

6.1 Any processing of personal data provided by recipients in connection with participation in the Promotion-will be used for administration of the Promotion and awarding of the Prize only and is subject to

6.2 Haglöfs’ also available on haglofs.com. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand Haglöfs’ standards and practices regarding the processing of personal data. Processing of personal data of the Winner for realization of the Prize shall be subject to Haglöfs Privacy Policy, the privacy policy of any shipping partner in order for it to facilitate the realization of the Prize, as well as privacy policy of High Coast Resort AB in order handle any and all communication related to the race, which will be organized by High Coast Resort AB. The Winners will be contacted by employees Haglöfs as well as directly by High Coast Resort AB for the purposes of sending out information regarding the race.

6.3 Except where prohibited or restricted by law, the Winner, by claiming and/or accepting a Prize, consents and agrees to Haglöfs and its affiliates, without owing any remuneration to Winner, to use, publish, replicate, alter, adapt, modify, broadcast, translate, distribute, and syndicate the recipient’s full name, city and state of residence, Prize claim, testimonials, biographical information (in whole or in part), and/or statements made by recipient regarding the Promotion or Haglöfs, worldwide and in perpetuity for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to, advertising, trade, promotion on behalf of Haglöfs, in any and all forms of media without limitation, restriction, compensation, notice, review, or approval, which.

7 LIABILITY WAIVER 

7.1 To the extent permitted by mandatory law, Haglöfs and its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors shall not have any obligation or responsibility, including any responsibility to award the Prize to a recipient, with regard to:

(a) Prize claims that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with or violate the T&C ; 

(b) Prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer, human or technical error of any kind; 

(c) recipients who have committed fraud or deception in entering or participating in the Promotion or claiming the Prize; 

(d) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; 

(e) any inability of the recipient to accept the Prize for any reason; 

(f) any damages, injuries or losses of any kind caused by any Prize or resulting from awarding, acceptance, possession, use, misuse, loss or misdirection of any Prize or resulting from participating in this promotion. 

7.2 The winner assumes any and all risks associated to participation and redemption of the Prize.

7.3 By participating in the Promotion, you acknowledge that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, associated or administered by Instagram and you agree to release Instagram from any and all liability connected with the Promotion.

8 MISCELLANEOUS 

8.1 Haglöfs reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual/recipient it finds to be:

(a) tampering with the selection process or the operation of the Promotion, or with any web sites promoting the Promotion; 

(b) acting in violation of the T&Cs; or 

(c) entering or attempting to enter the Promotion multiple times through the use of multiple accounts or the use of any robotic or automated devices to submit entries. 

8.2 If Haglöfs determines, in its sole discretion, that technical or unforeseen events compromise the integrity or viability of the Promotion, Haglöfs reserves the right to void the claims at Prize at issue, and/or terminate the relevant portion of the Promotion, including the entire Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated or modified due to technical difficulties or unforeseen events prior to the expiration date of the Promotion Period, notice will be posted via Haglöfs Swedish newsletter.

9 JURISDICTION AND DISPUTE SETTLEMENT 

9.1 Any claims or complaints regarding this Promotion can be communicated via email to [email protected]. Please clearly state your personal details (name and surname) and contact details, the name of the promotional campaign and the subject of the complaint. If you reside in the EU, the European Commission provides for an online dispute resolution platform, which you can access here: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. If you would like to bring a matter to our attention, please contact us.
