Tell us about your background:
Born and raised in Niseko, Hokkaido. I spent my childhood skiing the local mountains with complete freedom. As a member of the Japanese national team, I’ve competed in World Cup events in slopestyle and big-air freestyle skiing. Currently, I'm focused on freeride skiing competitions. I'm also actively involved in filming projects in Japan and internationally, working with top ski film companies like Matchstick Productions and Heart Films.
What was your craziest adventure or experience so far:
During the summer of my first year in high school, I traveled alone to New Zealand. It was my first time abroad, and I felt a mix of anxiety and excitement. Above all, what I enjoyed most was skiing. I was captivated by the unique atmosphere and terrain of the ski resorts compared to those in Japan. The most significant experience, however, was hitchhiking to the ski resort every day. Having never done anything like that in Japan, it was a big challenge, but incredibly fun. This experience has become a cherished memory in my life.
Bucket list / Dream trip:
Bungee jumping over 100 meters, skydiving, living on a deserted island
Why become a Haglöfs Ambassador:
I trust Haglofs because it is a brand selected by RCT Japan Co., Ltd., which I trust. Haglofs also pays attention to the working environment and wages of the people who work in the factories that manufacture their products. They also make efforts to reduce the burden on the natural environment as much as possible when manufacturing their products. I was able to choose Haglofs with confidence because it is a brand that cares about both people and the natural environment. I ski freestyle. I want all my equipment to be easy to move in. Haglofs gear is light, easy to move in, and durable. I chose Haglofs because they provide what I want most from my equipment.
What´s your favorite Haglöfs gear:
