Haglöfs Olympic games mitten 2026

Ready for cold.Set for history.

This winter, Haglöfs stands beside the Swedish Olympic Team as they meet the cold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Haglöfs was born from the quiet, demanding beauty of the Swedish winter: where cold is not an obstacle, but an invitation to move, explore, and play. At the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, Haglöfs brings that same mindset as official partner and supplier to the Swedish Olympic Team, supporting athletes as they embrace winter’s challenges.

HaglöfsTeam SWE Mitten

As part of the partnership with the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK), Haglöfs introduces the Team SWE Mitten: a technical, versatile mitten designed for movement in cold conditions. Designed with recycled materials, it is developed to meet the demands of life before, between, and beyond competition.

Insulated with 100% recycled synthetic fibers that retain warmth even in damp conditions

Practical wrist straps keep the mitts close at all times

Included pack bag for compact storage between excursions

“I believe we have created something that truly feels like a Haglöfs product: designed to keep athletes warm, while also being something they genuinely want to wear, not something they feel obliged to put on,” says Eva Weiss, Head of Design at Haglöfs.

The story behind the mitten

“Designing for the realities of the Olympic environment was central to the process. From opening and medal ceremonies to everyday movement through the Olympic Village and between disciplines, every scenario inspired the final product.”

The project began in mid-2025, with the mitten ready by January 2026.

“The development of the mitten followed a faster-than-usual process,” says Erik Lindström, Project Manager for the Haglöfs Team SWE Mitten.

“I’m proud that we managed to maintain our high-quality standards while delivering the final product in record time. It has been a challenging but very rewarding project, and a true team effort.”
