Sustainable Choice

- Our own sustainability labelling

Our own sustainability labelling: proudly displayed on products that take extra care of the environment as well as the wearer.

You might have seen the Sustainable Choice labelling on items in our range. Alternatively, you may have spotted the Sustainable Choice logo displayed on product pages on this website. Sustainable Choice is a concept name for products where we’ve tried even harder

Our industry is well served by certifications. There are many ways in which you can tell that your product lessens negative impact on the environment. What we intend to do with Sustainable Choice is to find a way to put these under one umbrella - so that you know that any product displays its environmental credentials in at least one fundamental way. We've set the inclusion standards pretty high so you know that we're not just paying lip service to sustainability: you know a Sustainable Choice product is the real thing. And we try to develop every single new product to fulfil the Sustainable Choice criteria.

Current status for Sustainable Choice items

At present (FW18), 72% of our clothing carries the Sustainable Choice label. Hardware is 28% and footwear 7%. We're working on improving every single one of these figures.

The general sustainability work also contains a series of sustainability directives for how we work - covering everything from how we travel, how we conduct meetings, to the coffee we drink in the office.

A sustainable outdoor industry.
It’s possible!
