EXTREME SKIER

For Asbjørn, a great day in the mountains is a day spent with good friends who enjoy all kinds of skiing; steep downhills, jumps and forest etc. A combination of a lot of powder skiing finished off with a tour of the pistes or building a ski jump, adds extra spice to the day. He's always spent a great deal of time in the mountains, as a kid he was on skis from morning till night whenever possible, and he does the same today.

"Some highlights from last winter was coming straight from filming with Field Productions in Alaska and go directly to the Haglöfs camp in Lyngen in the north of Norway. And although it was a long trip, it was just fantastic to get to Lyngen. Arriving there was a high point in itself – everything was superbly well organized at the camp and the skiing conditions were fantastic."

When it comes to skiing, Asbjørn wants to continue developing his skills on big mountains and to push the envelope there. Skiing and filming with his best friends are at the top of his wish list.
