INGUNN HULTGREEN WIETZEN
CROSS-COUNTRY AND ORIENTEERING
Ingunn does cross-country and orienteering, but also competes in athletics and fell running. At the moment, Ingunn is focusing on her training, in all kinds of weather and on all kinds of surfaces. All her training takes place outdoors, in summer as well as winter. If she needs a boost in her motivation, she tries to get to a peak, to get a nice view of the surroundings. Her favourite time to train is in the morning. The ambiance and the beautiful lighting give her positive energy and a good start to the day.
Top level sports also involve a great deal of travelling, which provides wonderful experiences. Almost every competition or event brings her to new places and every training session is somewhere new. "In orienteering, you find yourself in places that you would never otherwise have visited and you learn a great deal about the countries to which you travel."
Ingunns driving force is evolution, the enjoyment of steadily improving; technically, physically, mentally. To get closer and closer to the goal she has set for herself.
