A guide to Swedens least visited places
Rediscover
discovery
Exploration is slowly being replaced by routine. Once discovered, photographed, and shared with the world, a place changes. The peaceful silence is slowly being engulfed by the noise you were trying to escape.
But nature was never meant to be crowded.
This is our way of sparking new curiosity and a spirit of exploration.
Instead of focusing on known destinations, we searched for what has been overlooked. By analyzing years of satellite and mobile data we’ve identified places with little to no digital traces and created a guide to Sweden’s least visited places.

We used years of satellite and mobile data to map Sweden’s least visited places

A guide with 24 DESTINATIONS where human TRACES is non-existent
Don't expect a guide in the traditional sense. We’re not making any promises or recommendations. We do not know what you will find when you arrive. We have no story prepared for you to step into. Only a promise of exploration.
It’s not about the must-sees. It's about getting out there and rediscovering discovery. In nature, the greatest playground ever made.

In the heart of the Sjaunja Nature Reserve and the Laponia World Heritage Site, far beyond hiking trails and other infrastructure, mires, forested landscapes, and low mountains meet in one of Sweden’s most inaccessible natural areas. The landscape is characterized by vast distances and abundant birdlife.
