Nordic Winter Sleeping bags

When it gets really cold.

There are many tricks to pull when it gets really cold. For instance you can take your shell jacket and wrap around the foot section of the bag, which will not only keep your feet warmer but will also protect the sleeping bag from condensation on the inside of the tent. Sleep in a tight pair of thermals (or maybe two!), socks and a beanie. Place your down jacket on top of your sleeping bag to improve insulate from the outside and enhance the ability to keep all the air inside the sleeping bag warm. When it is cold it is also fantastic to have a bottle of very hot water (use a heat-proof plastic bottle!) in the foot end of the bag; it will keep you warm most of the night!
