G2 Outdoor is based in Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. Providing outdoor activities for people mad enough to get out there and do some awesome stuff. White water rafting and Canyoning in summer, Telemark skiing and ski mountaineering in winter.
G2 Outdoor was born in the year 2000 by the two guys who still run it. Nick Etheridge and Mike Gale have been testing and looking good in sponsored gear with Haglofs for 7 years.
Chosen by BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) to be Telemark Trainers, they first set up G2 Outdoor as a Telemark ski school.
After quickly realising there was a demand for summer activities in the Cairngorms National Park they began the summer side of G2 Outdoor running rafting, canyoning, guided white water kayaking, and a whole host of summer activities.
"We still love Haglofs. The gear is awesome and can stand up to the rigors of the Scottish weather. It's hard to say which our favourite item of gear is as they have all been outstanding. However the one series of equipment that we and all our instructors love has got to be the Barrier series. Its light, packs down well, works when damp, is great to put on when stopping for lunch on the mountain and is awesome for walking to the pub after a hard day on the hill!"
